Hansaprint, Newprint and Priimus Paino merge to form a new sheet-fed company

Hansaprint Oy, Newprint Oy and Priimus Paino Oy will merge their sheet-fed offset printing businesses into a new company. The company will be a leading sheet-fed company whose owners are well-established companies in the graphic industry. Hansaprint Oy will hold 40 % of the new company's shares and TS Group as a whole will be a majority owner.

The company offers its customers high-quality sheet-fed printing jobs and a comprehensive service chain from printing to logistics and storage services. The product range includes, for example, various personnel and customer magazines, marketing materials, catalogues, brochures, guides, business cards and folders.

The merger creates a very powerful entity, which has the strength and effectiveness to succeed in the Finnish sheet-fed markets. Customers will experience the effectiveness via quality services and reasonable prices. The company will make a long-term investment in customer relations and service development together with Hansaprint.

For Hansaprint's customers, and as a partner of Hansaprint, the new company is responsible for sheet-fed printing and producing prints in small amounts. In future, Hansaprint Oy will concentrate on volume printing, targetted marketing solutions and Print-on-Demand. Hansaprint remains responsible for its overall customer relations and the current contact persons of the customers will remain the same.

The trade name of the new company will be Newprint Oy. The company offices are located in Raisio and Loimaa, accompanied by an outlet store in Vantaa.  The new company will start operating on the 1st of September 2009.

The managing director of the existing Newprint Oy, Petteri Reunanen (M.Sc.), 33 years-old, has been appointed as the managing director of the new company. He commented that: ‘The new company will form a very significant and complex operator in the Finnish sheet-fed markets.  The aim of net revenues after the first year will be around 11 million euros and the future aim is to notably increase the net revenues. The owners are committed to develop a long-term business and thanks to the new company, Newprint's supply of services will become more varied than before.'
