Future Printing Center and CTC agree on a merger deal
The shareholders of two Raisio-based pilot plants, the Future Printing Center Oy (FPC)
and Coating Technology Center (CTC), have signed a deal on the merger of their
operations as of 15 October 2008. According to the agreement FPC will acquire
ownership of the CTC business operations.

Seppo Mero appointed Managing Director for Hansaprint Elanders Kft
Seppo Mero has been appointed on 1st October 2008 Managing Director for Hansaprint Elanders Kft, the joint venture company between Hansaprint and Elanders, located in Hungary. Mero continues also as Managing Director for the parent companies' other joint venture, Hansaprint Elanders SRL in Cluj. The two joint venture companies will be working in close cooperation, forming a uniformly led production and service resource.

Future Printing Center and CTC sign a letter of intent on a merger deal
The shareholders of two Raisio-based pilot plants, the Future Printing Center Oy (FPC) and Coating Technology Center (CTC), have signed a letter of intent providing for the merger of their operations and the related restructuring of ownership. According to the letter of intent, the FPC will acquire ownership of the CTC business operations. The operations will later be merged into a new company to be owned by the plants' current shareholders. The CTC's employees will automatically transfer to the FPC Oy. The merger is set to be finalised by early October as agreed in the letter of intent.

Hansaprint a runner-up in "Touching the Future" competition - TagAge "The Best NFC-Service of Year 2008"
"TagAge", a so called "Web to tag" application developed by Hansaprint and its business partner Luovia was selected as a runner up in NFC Forum Global Competition in Monaco on April 29th, 2008. The winners were selected from a total of 20 finalists and over 50 entries from 21 countries.

Dark Oy changes name into Hansaprint Direct Oy
Dark Oy, which belongs to the Hansaprint Group's business unit Hansa Direct, has changed its name to Hansaprint Direct Oy from 1.4.2008. The company's operations will continue as before and Matti Käki will continue as the Managing Director.
