TagAge means smarter print products
What?
Hansaprint's new TagAge service offers customers a totally new way of creating and ordering NFC/RFID-integrated print products. The service, developed jointly with UPM Raflatac, is the first of its kind in the world.
TagAge uses a member of the RFID family - NFC radio-frequency tags - which can be integrated into a wide range of print products, such as adhesive labels, posters or business cards.
TagAge has been specifically designed for personalized printed products that often come in small batch sizes.
Why?
TagAge is a very easy way for customers to get a ready-to-use product all from one place. The service was initially designed for corporate customers, but it has a lot of consumer-market potential.
How?
The print products are printed digitally, which allows variation of the product data and visual appearance within the actual order.
When necessary, Hansaprint helps in the choice of material for the print product, creates a visually pleasing design, integrates the print product with the tag, and codes the desired information into the tag.
